The team member from University of Calgary is Jörg Denzinger. He will focus on the Smart
Information Gathering and Processing Engine (SIGPE) and develope technology for the
subsystem. Other tasks are:
- incorporates Noranda guidance on field geology needs to extract an ontology
- developes agents that use the ontology to generate queries to CEONet and to decide the
quality of the fit between responses and the needs of the geologists
- provides the spatial data server application logic
- implements some of the basic agents using these concepts
